As we wrap up the fall of 2017 with the holidays and a fantastic Wedding season we enter Engagement season! The weather and sunlight this time of year in Florida is SUPERB and makes for an unbelievable experience. Cool temperatures and golden light, it’s doesn’t get any better for photography. This engagement session was held on the grounds of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. While this venue does charge a fee to photograph here, it’s WELL worth it. First off, you’ll need to setup an appointment since they limit to just a couple sessions a per day. The best part is you get to use the entire grounds from the Museum Courtyard to the Rose Garden and the popular Ca’d’Zan Mansion. There are literally an endless number of beautiful locations to photograph on this property! Nikki and Kenneth are PhD. students in Arizona and chose to have their engagement session here. “There is no finer venue on Florida’s West Coast for a session like this” I told them! Nikki and Ken are a lighthearted and fun couple who really loved exploring and showing me their personalities. One thing I found really funny was I asked them to be flirtatious and they replied, “We don’t know how to do that”. lol! I’d have to say they nailed it and we got some really great moments and laughs as a result. 🙂 This is precisely why I like doing engagement sessions! Not only are engagement session for capturing great images of you but it’s about getting to know each other and creating report together. I can’t wait for their wedding in August!!
