Engagement FAQ
Is an engagement session something I want?
There might be a few reasons you'd want an engagement session. Maybe you've never had a couples session before? Or, you'd like to get to know your photographer before your wedding? Or, you may want to share some professional portraits on your wedding invitations?
An engagement session will also help establish report and give us a little more time to get to know each other before your wedding day.
What if we live out of state?
I travel often for engagement sessions especially if the couple live out of state but are getting married here in FL. It's easy and great way to include something personal about where you live into the session..... like your pets!
It can also be much more cost effective for you.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from your gallery and share, choose your favorites and order prints!
Can we have multiple locations and outfits?
Yes, we can easily work in a wardrobe change. And if timing works out we can use a second or third location as well.
What should we wear?
You can dress as formal or as casual as you like. Often we allow for a change of clothes so you can have two looks. Accessorize and have fun with it! Avoid loud busy patterns and wrinkles. For guys I usually recommend a button down shirt with rolled up sleeves for a clean look that can go casual and semi formal.
How do we pick a location?
The location of your session can be your choice or I can provide suggestions based on your taste of locations style, i.e. Botanical, Beach, Urban etc...
Can we include our pets?
Absolutely! Including your dogs, for example, has become very popular and your wedding will be a big change for them too! They're a part of your family. I have a team of professional dog handlers available to help!
